The Postgraduate Program in Transportation Engineering ((PPG-ET) ) the EESC-USP is one of the oldest of transport engineering in the country and began with the Master's degree in 1973, with the so called Department of Transportation and Surveying School of São Carlos, University of São Paulo, which is currently known as Department of Transportation Engineering. (STT). In 1976, after its natural development,, the PhD course was implemented. Throughout these 45 criteria and the , o PPG-ET formou 136 to perform their activities in the best universities 346 masters.
